Terms of Service
1. Eligibility
- yolk is intended for adults only.
- You must be at least 19 years old to use the service.
- We may require identity or age verification and may suspend or terminate accounts with false or unverifiable information.
2. Account and Access
- You are responsible for your account credentials and activity.
- You may not share, transfer, or sell your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Service Scope
The service may include matching, chat, community posting, notifications, and paid subscription or ticket features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service for operational, legal, or technical reasons.
4. Paid Features
- Paid plans and purchase terms are shown in-app and in each app store purchase flow.
- Billing, cancellation, and refunds follow applicable law and the Apple App Store or Google Play policies.
- Fraudulent payments or abuse may result in account suspension and legal action.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Impersonation or false identity information.
- Harassment, threats, defamation, spam, or user exploitation.
- Unlawful, abusive, sexually exploitative, or otherwise illegal content.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), solicitation, or related promotion.
- Attempts to disrupt the service, including unauthorized access, attacks, or abusive automation.
- Infringement of third-party rights or violation of law.
6. User Content
- You retain ownership of content you create.
- You grant YOLK a limited license to host, process, moderate, and display content as needed to operate and improve the service.
- We may remove or restrict content that violates these terms, law, or safety policies.
7. Safety and Enforcement
We may investigate reports and take action including warning, content removal, feature restriction, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement where required or appropriate.
8. Termination and Deletion
- You may request account deletion through the app.
- We may terminate access for material violations of these terms or applicable law.
- Data handling after termination or deletion is described in the Privacy Policy and legal retention requirements.
9. Disclaimers and Liability
- The service is provided on an "as available" basis.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, YOLK is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- We are not responsible for disputes or conduct between users, except as required by law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
